Ba Tong
Ba Tong is a registered clinical psychologist and a registered clinical supervisor in CPSRS (China Psychology Society Registration System). She finished the basic training on psychology at Beijing Normal University. Afterwards she took part in family therapy training and psychodynamic training. Training programs she has completed include Sino-German Analytic training, China American Psychoanalytic Alliance (CAPA), Sino-America Dynamic Marital training, the two-year Tavistock-model Infant Observation and Work Discussion by Washington School of Psychiatry, and became WSP member. She has received supervision training of CAPA and that of the Sino-Norway program. She worked as a counselor since 2005 and started it in the Youth Hotline. Then she had the part time position in Psychological Counseling and Therapy Center of Peking University Hospital. She started her private practice from 2010. She has worked for thousands of sessions with clients and still receive regular individual supervision from analysts in America and the UK.
Ba Tong provides counseling for individuals, couples, parents and infants. She is also a clinical supervisor, a faculty member of Observational Studies Program of Mind in Mind Education and Counseling. She is one of the Chinese translators of the book ‘Attachment in Psychotherapy’ and a proofreader of the Chinese version of ‘Infant Research and Neuroscience at Work in Psychotherapy’. She is now a psychoanalytic candidate of IPA (International Psychoanalytical Association)

Maranda Sze
PhD, Counselor, Parent-Infant Consultant, Psychoanalytic Candidate
Maranda comes from Hong Kong. Before working in Shenzhen, she has worked in Beijing for almost 10 years. She completed counseling masters program in the University of Hull, England and later doctoral program in Beijing Normal University, China. She has been receiving psychodynamic and systemic psychotherapy training, including Sino-German psychodynamic psychotherapy program and systemic program, those of China American Psychoanalytic Alliance, family therapy training by Dr Lee Wai Yung, Satir training by John Banmen, and couple therapy training by Dr David Sharff. She also finished full Observational Studies (2-year infant observation, young child observation and work discussion) of Washington School of Psychiatry and become its member. She organized and received Watch, Wait and Wonder training targeting difficulties between parents and infants. Afterwards, she completed Parent-Infant Psychotherapy program of Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. Now she is a psychoanalytic candidate of Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis. Since 2008, she has been receiving psychoanalysis and clinical supervision. She was once a volunteer of crisis hotline in Hong Kong. In Beijing, she worked as a counselor for employee assistance programs of Human Dynamics, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology Counseling Center, Marital and Family Counseling Center of Beijing Normal University, Mental Health Unit of Beijing United Family Hospital. She also taught family therapy course in China Women University.
Maranda provides counseling for individuals, couples, parents and infants, and psychoanalysis for children and adults. She is also a clinical supervisor, a faculty member of Observational Studies Program of Mind in Mind Education and Counseling, and a student teacher in CAPA. She is one of the Chinese translators of ‘Attachment in Psychotherapy’ and a proofreader of the Chinese version of ‘Infant Research and Neuroscience at Work in Psychotherapy’.
